إذا طلب منك شراء أفضل سهم من بين أسهم 10 شركات موجودة في السوق فأيها تختار؟ اتخاذك لأي قرار هنا لا بد أن يحكمه متغيران أساسيان هما: العائد والمخاطرة، فإذا قمت بالمفاضلة بين شركتين فسوف تختار ذات العائد الأكبر إذا ما تساوتا من حيث المخاطر، أو إذا تساوتا في العائد فسوف تختار سهم الشركة التي تكون المخاطر بها أقل.

لكن إذا اخترت عدة أسهم أو سندات متنوعة في العائد وحجم المخاطرة حيئنذ تكون قد كونت ما يسمى بـ"المحفظة الاستثماريةPortfolio ".. هنا عليك أن تتوقف قليلا وتفكر في أسلوب إدارة محفظتك المالية أو حتى تتناقش مع شركة السمسرة التي تدير محفظتك، لا سيما أن هناك قواعد محددة لا بد أن تراعيها حتى تستطيع أن تنمي القيمة السوقية لهذه المحفظة، وتجعل مكوناتها متوازنة، بما يصل بها إلى بر الأمان الاقتصادي، أي مازجا بين العائد والمخاطرة.

ما هي المحفظة الاستثمارية وأنواعها؟

هي مصطلح يطلق على مجموع ما يملكه الفرد من الأسهم والسندات، والهدف من امتلاك هذه المحفظة هو تنمية القيمة السوقية لها، وتحقيق التوظيف الأمثل لما تمثله هذه الأصول من أموال.

وتخضع المحفظة الاستثمارية في الأسهم والسندات لإدارة شخص مسئول عنها يسمى مدير المحفظة، كذلك الحال بالنسبة لشهادات الإيداع والودائع الاستثمارية في الأسهم والسندات فإنها تعتبر جزءا من المحفظة الاستثمارية.

إذن مفهوم المحفظة الاستثمارية في الأسهم والسندات يشمل تقريبا جميع أشكال الأصول المالية، وغير المنقولة شريطة أن يكون امتلاكها بغرض الاستثمار والمتاجرة.

وإذا كان قسم كبير من الأفراد يملك محافظ استثمارية فإن الاختلاف يتضح في تفاوت النظرة أو الأهداف لهذه المحافظ، فبعض الأفراد لديه استعداد لتملك أوراق مالية ذات درجة عالية من المخاطرة؛ لأنه يسعى إلى تحقيق أكبر قدر ممكن من الأرباح، في حين يفضل البعض الآخر اعتماد أسلوب متحفظ في الاستثمار حتى إن حصل على عائد أقل.

وهناك العديد من الأفراد الذين يسعون إلى تكوين محافظ متوازنة، أي أن بعضها يتضمن درجة عالية من المخاطرة والبعض الآخر درجة قليلة من المخاطرة. كما أن هناك نفرا آخر يسعى إلى تكوين أكثر من محفظة استثمارية في الأسهم والسندات كل منها موجه نحو نوع معين من الاستثمار المصحوب بدرجة معينة من المخاطرة أو بنمط معين من تدفق الدخل.

وهكذا فإن تكوين المحافظ الاستثمارية في الأسهم والسندات يعتمد على فلسفة الفرد نفسه ومدى استعداده لتقبل المخاطرة، وكذلك احتياجاته الخاصة فيما إذا كان يهدف بالدرجة الأولى إلى الحصول على تدفق نقدي ثابت وبشكل دوري (شهري أو ربع سنوي أو سنوي) أو أنه يهدف إلى تعظيم الأرباح.

ومن هنا ولكي يقوم المستثمر ببناء المحفظة الاستثمارية في الأسهم والسندات التي تتلاءم مع فلسفته واحتياجاته، فإنه لا بد أن يحدد أولا أهدافه الاستثمارية في الأسهم والسندات؛ فهدف تحقيق عوائد أكبر مع درجة أدنى من المخاطرة هو هدف ينطوي على عنصرين متعارضين: العائد والمخاطرة. ففي النظرية الاستثمارية في الأسهم والسندات كلما ازدادت فرص الكسب ارتفعت درجة المخاطرة. ومن هنا لا بد من تحقيق توازن بين الاثنين.
